On behalf of our family of clients we have continued to contribute to ongoing efforts for the Western part of the state following the unprecedented destruction from Hurricane Helene.
This past week we contributed to the Haywood Christian Ministry, a group prioritizing food access to the communities most affected by the floods and isolation. C F Parks Cares also made a donation to the Support Hope Mill Inc's Hurricane Relief Fund. This initiative is based out of the Charlotte area and has been providing a variety of supplies to those in need.
Finally, last week we made a significant donation to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina as part of the Radio One Charlotte Help One Another Radiothon. Our donation will allow for 7,000 pounds of food to be sent to the communities in need. Thus far the Food Bank has already provided 42 tractor trailer loads to the impacted areas including 65,000 boxes of food totaling 1.5 million pounds.
We continue to pray for the families and communities impacted by the devastation as they recover and rebuild.
