Our hearts are heavy today following the destruction and devastation from Hurricane Helene. The disaster in western North Carolina is unprecedented, with many people still missing, towns decimated, and personal residences damaged or destroyed.
We have multiple clients living in that area and we have still not been able to connect with some. We ask for prayers for these families and their safety in the midst of this crisis.
Through our C F Parks Cares initiative we have made donations to the Samaritans Purse, Red Cross, Baptist on Mission, and the NC Disaster Relief Fund. We are also working today to donate to a program called Operation Airdrop which is flying in food, water etc. out of Concord to designated drop off areas.
We pray that you and your family have remained safe through the storm and we pray for the families and communities that now face the incredible challenge to begin to recover and rebuild.
